Mission Statement

Gender Equality in Music at NYU is a club open to any and all students who love music. Our club is committed to creating a safe space for those whose gender identity is not heavily represented in the music industry. There is still a huge gender inequality in the music industry today and that's why we want to create this network of support and resources for students.

Our mission is to create a community of students from all aspects of the music industry to learn and support each other. Through showcases, panels, industry events, workshops and collaborations, members of the club will have an opportunity to meet like-minded people and make connections with other NYU students and people within the industry.
